Three weeks went far too quickly and I am back in London from an amazing holiday spent with my family and friends. I hope you all had a good start to the new year.
We spent New Year's eve in the mountains and I could finally enjoy the proper winter weather with lots of snow. Even though I am more of a summer person, I truly love the winter weather when everything is frosty and covered in beautiful clean white snow. A winter wonderland!

I couldn't take many pictures of winter beauty because I tried cross country skiing after many years again. I was worried I could break my camera as I'm still a beginner and fall over a lot. I never thought I would like cross country skiing after several mishaps and failed attempt in the past, but this sport has eventually got a place in my heart. I must say, I'm quite proud of myself. :)
So here are a few shots I managed to take during a stop in a pub and “catching my breath” breaks; I'm not proud of this part (I desperately need to increase my physical power).
